Shipping Policy
Animal Instinct ships via express courier with the option to track the shipment until delivery. Deliveries are made on business days (Monday to Friday). Deliveries are not made on Italian public holidays.
Any Saturday morning deliveries are at the courier's discretion. Upon receipt of payment, orders are processed within two/three business days after which the package is handed over to the courier.
When the courier takes charge of the delivery, they will send a communication to the customer with the tracking code to monitor real-time movements. Delivery times may not be met due to force majeure (courier strikes, bad weather, pandemics, etc.), mid-week holidays, or periods that involve order peaks such as Christmas, Black Friday, or Valentine's Day. Requests regarding the status of your order received before four business days may not be processed.
Delivery takes on average 24/48 business hours from the moment the courier takes charge of the shipment in most Italian locations. For shipments to Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia or remote areas, delivery times may be extended by 1 or 2 business days. Delivery times are indicative and start from the moment the shipping confirmation email is sent to the customer. Once the order has been prepared and shipped, the customer will receive an email from the courier with their tracking code to inquire about the status of product shipment and delivery. Products ordered by the Customer will be delivered to the shipping address indicated at the time of order. Errors and/or fundamental omissions in the address communication (such as "intercom name" different from the Customer's name or incorrect phone number) necessary for successful delivery are not attributable to Legu.
The courier will communicate the tracking number and estimated delivery date to the customer via email. Any assistance requests regarding the shipment must be sent to info@legu.it, with the subject line "Order Number 000 – Customer Name". You can find your order number in the order confirmation email.
Shipping costs are as follows:
– orders less than 38.99 euros: 7 euros
– orders over 39.01 euros: free
In case of absence, the recipient of the ordered package will receive a notice of attempted delivery from the courier, containing useful information to contact the courier in order to arrange a new delivery. The notice of attempted delivery by the courier may be sent via SMS, email, phone call, or a paper slip in the mailbox. If the courier is not contacted, the package will be held in storage. If, after two delivery attempts, the package cannot be delivered, the Customer will receive a notice communicating the address of the branch where the package is located, which will be stored for 3 business days. At the end of the 3-day storage period, the package will be returned to the Animal Instinct headquarters.
If the Customer wishes to request a second shipment from Legù, they must send an email to info@legu.it. The costs for the release from storage are borne by Legù.
Second shipment: after 2 delivery attempts, the package will go into storage at the local branch. If the order is not collected within 3 business days, the package will be returned to Animal Instinct. A second shipment can be requested at no additional cost.
*Refund: After 2 delivery attempts, the package will go into storage at the local branch. If the order is not collected within 3 business days, the package will be returned to Legù. If the customer does not wish for a second shipment, they can request a refund of the order minus the costs incurred for shipping, storage, and redelivery.
