Our Story

In 2015, Monica Neri, with creativity, study, and passion, gave birth to LEGÙ®. With a specific educational background (from hotel school to a degree in Agri-food System Economics), she discovered the world of legumes, their incredible properties, and their culinary applications, combined with prevention and health. A personal event sparked the idea

“When I had gestational diabetes, I reconnected with legumes, to consume fewer carbohydrates and more fiber. My grandmother Ida, who was from Mantua, ate legumes every day and always told me they were the poor man's meat.”

LEGÙ® was born to bring legumes back to the table, a now-forgotten peasant food, in new forms.
